This is my happy place! The food is ok, your typical Chinese-for-Americans fare, with some local flavor mixed in (fried plantains for example). Decent size and selection. Also a sushi bar- you can take what's out or ask for something specific, they are very  accommodating. As a mostly vegetarian, there is plenty for me here.

Best of all is the atmosphere. The decor is cheery and adorable, the Asian pop music they play is super catchy, and the folks who work there are super, super nice. I go there frequently and they all remember me and give me coupons for next time.

It's like a safe happy place where nothing bad can ever happen. Also I like that everyone goes there, all sorts from all walks of life. It's a welcoming kind of place.

Service was quick, walked in and was seated right away.

    Mai Tai was boozy!

The food tasted good, sushi was a miss. This is a pretty standard buffet, the options are definitely on the lighter side.

Felt sick for the next day and a half, can't quite tell what from but myself and one other person felt terrible the next day and I feel it was connected with the visit to this restaurant.

It's crawfish season! If you love seafood and are on a budget I would 100% head here! The fried shrimp, baked salmon, steamed mussles and crawfish UNLIMITED for 14.99 dinner what more could you want ? Plus the have beer and wine! Not to mention a freezer full of ice cream and fresh fruit

Small, cozy, atmosphere with a delicious well thought out main buffet. Also a seafood bar with cold items like shucked oysters, varieties of sushi, shrimp, and dressed mussels. Back buffet table is the dessert area; ice cream, pastry, fruit, salads, and more.  The beauty of the main buffet at the Mandarin is fresh, hot, & well prepared main and side dishes. You won't find thrown in fillers like at other large multi table buffets and when tray gets empty it is replaced with a fresh right away. Outstanding buttered whole salmon steamed to perfection. Salt/pepper shrimp, spicy baby clams in shell, mounds of steamed Crawfish, walnut shrimp to die for, salted cracked crab in shell, squid, steamed book choy, spicy green beans, sauteed garlic spinach, spicy pepper beef, crispy orange chicken, glazed chick medallions with vegetables, and more. There is always fried or white rice, lo mein, and two different soups. Wonderful appetizers, the best chicken wings and fresh made on site crab Rangoons, bacon wrapped chicken puffs, pot stickers, teriyaki, crab, and so much more. Lunch or dinner, you can't go wrong. I especially love the fill the take out plate, pay by the pound. Tea is served water, soft drinks. I think they also serve beer & wine. At dinner, you always see Asian families eating here, lots of them, a good sign.  Plenty of parking and Very friendly staff, love this place.
